Artist's Description
I passed this house last spring and was very interested in the pattern the rocking chairs made on the veranda. However, there was absolutely nothing on the lawn which could be the center of interest. Down the street, there was a beautiful weeping cherry tree with an uninteresting house behind it. To make this painting, I combined the interesting house and the interesting tree.
